The bee population is declining rapidly, and nobody is more upset than Winnie the Pooh, or so you would think.

What doesn’t seem to be sinking in is that the eradication of bees is a potential ecological apocalypse.

Albert Einstein explained the significance of the humble bee when he said: "If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man."

But fret not, there’s no need to start stocking up on tinned kidney beans just yet. We can do something about it.
