10:10 continues its work to help people cut their carbon footprint
The long-awaited Copenhagen conference is over, leaving many underwhelmed by the outcome. Yet, Franny Armstrong and others involved with the 10:10 campaign are planning to storm into the New Year - promising to put pledges into action.
The 10:10 campaign team promises 10 themed, monthly challenges to help those who’ve signed up to cut their emissions by 10%. Top tips, ideas and insider secrets will be published on the campaign website, helping the UK public bring down its carbon footprint.
As of January 2010, the campaign hopes to produce 10:10 tags, found on the high street and worn as necklaces as a sign of carbon-cutting support.
10:10 also hopes to use the voices and opinions of the 50,000 people who’ve joined the scheme - continuing to lobby the government for effectual climate change action.

“If hundreds of thousands of us now actually made a 10% cut in 2010, it could really shake things up,” said 10:10 Director, Eugenie Harvey.
“So how about it? Let’s make a good-sized dent in the UK’s emissions, and let’s do it in ways that are simple, practical and maybe even fun.”

If 10:10 is really serious let's start a 50 mph speed limit campaign - that would not only cut CO2 emissions, it would also draw every persons attention to Climate Change.
