10 London solicitors will write a will, free of charge, for anyone who makes a bequest to Trinity hospice

10 London solicitors will write a will, free of charge, for anyone who makes a bequest to Trinity hospice

10 solicitors in London are to donate their time and expertise as part of a hospice's Free Will Week scheme beginning on 1st March.

The solicitors will draw up a free will for anyone who agrees to leave a gift to Trinity Hospice, which provides free care for terminally ill people across the capital.

It costs the hospice £8 million a year to provide support for 2,000 terminally ill people and their families.

The hospice has thanked all the 10 solicitors, who work within Trinity Hospice's patient catchment area, covering central and south-west London.

Anne Hooper, chief executive at Trinity Hospice, said: "A legacy to Trinity though, however large or small, can help us to ensure that future generations will continue to have access to our specialist care services."

Take action

Solicitor Gerald Kidd said he was "delighted" to take part in the scheme.

The 10 solicitors taking part are located in SW1, SW2, SW11, SW16, SW18, WC2 and TW9. Those wishing to take advantage of the scheme are advised to book early.

The hospice's Legacy 1000 campaign aims to encourage 1,000 people to make a contribution to the organisation in their wills.
