Al Gore attends the launch party for his new book, Our Choice: A Plan to Solve the Climate Crisis, at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.

The eagerly anticipated sequel An Inconvenient Truth, the book and film that really put climate change on the agenda, Our Choice presents some potential solutions to the problem.

The book draws on countless conversations between Nobel prize winner Gore and leading experts from a range of fields at some of America's premier institutions, as they search for answers to climate change.

Al Gore needs to have the courage of his convictions and go vegan immediately. He has done some great things for further the cause and the awakening of many people to the impending disaster we have created for ourselves, but for anyone to deny that meat-eating has any consequences for the state of the planet (global warming, widespread starvation, fresh-water shortage to name a few) because it tastes nice and you are too selfish to give it up for the sake of the rest of us is to bury one's head in the sand. Set an example Al!
