Michael Howard's home was an alleged focal point for extraterrestrials
The latest instalment of Britain's very own X-Files have revealed an unlikely destination for so-called extraterrestrial visitors - the former home secretary Michael Howard's home.
More than 6,000 pages of material from top-secret Ministry of Defence files have been released detailing eyewitness accounts of alleged alien encounters including reports of a "large triangular UFO" floating above the former Home Secretary's Kent residence.
The newly-released files make intriguing reading for UFO believers, with reports of tubes of light, flying toblerones and silky-white substances lying within the previously withheld reports.
According to the files, extraterrestrial encounters have been reported over a range of well-known locations including Stamford Bridge - Chelsea Football Club's home ground - where one eyewitness reported seeing a UFO hovering above the west London stadium.
Elsewhere, one man told police he was physically sick and developed a "skin condition" after an eerie "tube of light" enveloped his car in Ebbw Vale, in Wales.
The files have come to public attention via an agreement between the MoD and The National Archives. The latest batch provide a snapshot of UFO activity in British airspace from 1994 to 2000.
The records also feature papers relating to the famous "Rendlesham Forest" sightings, often dubbed as "Britain's Roswell".

I'm so tired of officials and goverments who are in denial. The universe is so vast and teeming with life so much older than us. Our own technology has made such progress in the last 60yrs, can we be so blind. There galaxy's billions of years in front of us. We must ask the question; where does there technological knowledge stand at right now? I firmly believe that the humanoid species exists throughout the known universe all inter-linked in a way not yet known to us.
